Dread shampoos: shampoo bar, liquid shampoo or spray shampoo?

There is a lot to choose from when it comes to shampoos for Real Dreads. There are shampoo bars, liquid shampoos and spray shampoos. The one you choose is really a matter of preference in use. Here are some advantages of each product: Dreadshampoo

  • A shampoo bar for Real Dreads actually works the same as a bar of soap. Wet the shampoo bar and then you can use the shampoo bar or the foam from it to wash your dreads. A shampoo bar allows you to easily go along the parts on your head so the shampoo can be applied to your scalp. This makes a shampoo bar very economical to use as it lasts a long time.
  • A liquid shampoo for Real Dreads is the same as a “normal” shampoo. Put some shampoo in your hand, foam it and massage it into your dreads and onto your scalp. Be sure to thoroughly rinse out the shampoo when you’re done!
  • A spray shampoo for Real Dreads allows you to easily distribute the shampoo. The big advantage of a spray shampoo is that you only have to do a minimum amount of foaming on your head. Foaming actually leads to faster fluffing and loose hairs in your Real Dreads and you certainly don’t want that!

Good luck making your choice :)
